Profumum Volo AZ 686 & Alba, Rich Hippie Flower Child ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 25 June 2007 7 Comments

Profumum Volo AZ 686 perfumeProfumum has launched two new fragrances, Volo AZ 686 and Alba:

Volo AZ 686 (shown) has notes of gardenia, coconut, vanilla.

If we told you that the primary notes of this scent are gardenia, vanilla and coconut, you would probably imagine it to be a suntan lotion, pina colada-esque sort of scent -- but you would be mistaken...The gardenia is green, the vanilla is dry, the coconut is dark and subtle, and the first impression is bracing and clean, rather than lush.[...] One of the few gardenia scents we truly consider unisex.

Alba features sandalwood, hazel wood, almond wood, and amber.

This incredibly comforting scent takes rich, warm woods – almond wood, hazel wood and sandalwood -- and blends them with powdery amber to create a cashmere soft fragrance that caresses the senses. Alba means dawn, and this is sunrise in a pristine forest – hushed and tranquil.

Profumum Volo AZ 686 and Alba are both in 100 ml Eau de Parfum at luckyscent.

Rich Hippie Flower Child perfumeRich Hippie has introduced Flower Child:

The days of love-ins, Jimi Hendrix and peace and love may be behind you but your soul has still very much maintained the true essence of the flower power movement [...] step up Flower Child, the latest innovation from hip US perfumier Rich Hippie. The vibe is seriously bohemian but with a sexy edge. Albanian Orris Root, Bulgarian Rose, Turkish Rose, Madagascan Rose Geranium and Croatian Lavender Flower combine to create the perfect light, airy and sweet floral fragrance for women with a soft edge and an affinity with the flower power era.

Rich Hippie Flower Child is available in 15 ml perfume oil. Rich Hippie is currently offering 20% off all purchases with coupon code FLOWERCHILD, good through 7/1.

Just ordered the samples and can't wait to try them. The idea of a tropical that isn't tropical is quite intriguing.

I do hate to tell the PR guys this, but 'alba' means 'white', not 'dawn'.

    But it does sound yummny!

It must be Italian and not Spanish, because alba does mean dawn in Italian. Ciao tutti!

They have launched both at least a month ago!

Volo AZ686 is devoted to flight number from Rome to South America, and it smelled vile to me…

I'm sure they did, the Profumums seem to take awhile to reach the US. Doesn't sound compelling, LOL!
