Nordstrom, so far, is beating out the other department stores in their online selection of fun gift sets for Mother's Day. Here is a great one for Thierry Mugler Angel fans: a black case with Celestial Showers (3.5 oz.), Celestial Body Cream (1.7 oz.) and Angel Refillable Eau de Parfum Spray (1.7 oz.). $119.

For the niche fragrance fans, here is a lovely set from i Profumi di Firenze: the Vanilla Collection, with 12 ml miniature spray bottles of three of their most popular scents: Ambra del Nepal, Vaniglia del Madagascar, and Zenzero, all in a travel case. $90 at Beauty Habit.

A Terra Cotta Urn filled with potpourri from Santa Maria Novella. The ingredients for the "secret recipe" of herbs and flowers from the Florentine hills is 100% organic and pesticide-free, and the fragrance should last 12-16 months. Two sizes, 150 gr for $85 or 70 gr for $60, at Aedes.

For the gardener, a Crabtree & Evelyn minature glass conservatory filled with shea butter Hand Therapy Hand Cream, Nail & Cuticle cream and exfoliating Pumice Scrub, and a crushable canvas hat. $45.
