Malin + Goetz has launched two new candles, Mojito and Dark Rum, to be burned separately or together. Mojito (shown) has notes of lime, rum, mint leaves, basil, spearmint, chinese mint and white musk; Dark Rum has bergamot, plum, rum, leather, amber, patchouli, and milk. I can definitely recommend the Dark Rum candle from Malin + Goetz! It's strong, and it's sweet but not “foody.” I'd describe the scent as an androgynous gourmand, if that makes sense. There was some sooty deposit on the glass towards the end of the candle's life-span, but not enough to bother me. I'd buy another one. 🙂
