New limited editions from Hermes

Posted by Robin on 13 February 2007 4 Comments

Hermes limited edition fragrance bottlesHermès has launched limited edition bottles of Eau des Merveilles and Terre d'Hermès. Eau des Merveilles édition Pégase will be available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette; Terre d'Hermès Flacon H in 100 ml Eau de Toilette. Note that the fragrances are unchanged, these are just collector bottles. Pretty, no? I might have liked last year's Constellation edition better though. (via osmoz)

I think that the original bottle of Eau de Merveilles is just perfect for the juice. Orange, with some “warm” feeling that's ok. The constellation bottle and the new one are really pretty, but the blue color is always associated with cold for me. 🙂

You are quite right that orange probably fits better, but since I like blue better than orange, I'm happier with the new bottles! Either way, the overall packaging design for Eau des Merveilles is great — the bottle shape, the box, everything.

I don't like orange either… The orange box of Hiris seems just not correct for the fragrance and its concept (the blue bottle is gorgeous!). But I love the box, the delicate paper inside, everything so elegant! 🙂

Oh, I didn't even remember Hiris came in the Hermes orange box! It ought to be in blue, and you're right, the bottle is perfect.
