Becker.eshaya Be

Be was launched late last year by Becker.eshaya, a joint collaboration between John Eshaya and Kristin Becker. The notes are mandarin, rose, pink peony, lily of the valley and white musk.

Be is a soapy-clean floral musk fragrance. The peony is predominant in the early stages, but none of the floral notes really stand out, and the fragrance stays both fresh and close to the skin…

Perfume in the news: Nascar & Mom

Eau de Nascar, in the New York Times, discusses the new Daytona 500 fragrance and all the other items being marketed to Nascar fans, ranging from crock pots to Harlequin romance novels. Thanks to Ruth for the link! Elsewhere in the Times, Chandler Burr, who says "I'd rather wear paint thinner than most men's cologne", picks four worthy new releases (scroll down to "Scent of a Man").

And in the London Times, read columnist Bethan Cole's All about my mother, starting with "the drift of amber breath that was Halston’s signature fragrance..."
