Posted by Robin on 20 October 2006 1 Comment

Lancome Benghal fragranceThe next fragrance from Lancome's Collection Voyage (see Tropiques, the first in the series) will be Benghal, inspired by India.

Look for it in travel retail starting in February 2007, unfortunately, no word yet on what it smells like. (via moodiereport)

Update: the notes for Benghal are ginger, mandarin, jasmine, osmanthus, apricot, musk and sandalwood. (via osmoz)

Spanish singer and actress Rosario Flores will launch her first fragrance, Alma, this month in Spain, next year in Latin America. "Composed by Perfumería Gal nose Manolo Barrado, the woody floral features a lingering ambery back note." (via cosmeticnews)

Theo Fennel Scent perfumeUpscale British jeweller Theo Fennell will launch his first fragrance, Theo Fennell Scent, in February 2007.

Described as "an unashamedly feminine fragrance designed to be worn in the evening", Theo Fennell will include notes of saffron, cardamom, lily, rose, orchid, jasmine sambac, orange flower, cumin, cinnamon, patchouli, tonka bean, labdanum, sandalwood and benzoin. (via cosmeticsint.co.uk)

Update: Theo Fennell Scent was developed by perfumer Christophe Laudamiel. (via Women's Wear Daily) Theo Fennel Scent is available at Harrods in 75 ml Eau de Parfum and 15 ml Parfum.

Theo Fennell has launched in Harrods exclusively. I bought a 75ml edp which came with a pure silver base – specially engraved – I thought what the heck its gorgeous and I'm in Harrods LOL
It's a Chypre-Oriental – powdery, feminine and quite animalic but unlike Black Orchid which was too dirty for me, this one mellows down with my skin, from a rose, lily and orchid to jasmine and sandalwood.. mmmmmm!
