New perfumes from Juliette Has A Gun, Breil & Arrogance

Posted by Robin on 21 September 2006 2 Comments

Juliette Has a Gun Lady Vengeance & Miss Charming fragrances

Juliette Has A Gun is a new Shakespeare-inspired line of perfumes which will debut next year in France with two of a projected series of five fragrances:

...Lady Vengeance aims to evoke powerful emotions with notes of Italian rose absolute, vanilla and patchouli while the more innocent Miss Charming will feature Moroccan rose, wild strawberry and lychee.

Both fragrances were created by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian. (via cosmeticsint) Update: The Juliette Has A Gun line was established by Nina Ricci's grandson, Romano Ricci, and the 2 fragrances are expected to be for sale at Colette in Paris by December of this year, then at department stores in France by February. (via cosmeticnews) Update: see reviews of Miss Charming and Lady Vengeance.

Breil, Italy's leading watch brand, will enter the fragrance market in October with Eaux de Toilette for men and women: "...a fruity floral for the women's version (Olivier Polge, IFF) and a spicy, woody floral for the men's (Jean-Christophe Hérault, Fragrance Resources)". (via cosmeticnews)

T.e.a. is a new set of four fragrances from the Arrogance line:

The Green Tea fragrance...is composed around a heart of green tea. It opens on top notes of lemon and magnolia; the base is a blend of vetiver and musk.

The Vanilla scent begins with a citrus fizz of lime, orange and tangerine, building to a heart of ylang-ylang and geranium. The dry-down features vanilla orchid, sandalwood and cedar wood.

Bergamot and ambrette seeds are the opening notes of the Jasmine Tea fragrance, which is, unsurprisingly, built around a heart of jasmine tea. The base comprises sandalwood and musk.

Lastly, the Red Fruits fragrance...begins with notes of ginger, grapefruit and green apple, leading to a heart of peony, ylang-ylang and red fruits. Amber, sandalwood and vanilla complete the dry-down. (via moodiereport)

I don't know the Arrogance line well so not sure. They are owned by Schiapparelli Pikenz if that helps.

Viktor & Rolf have launched Antidote for men this year.
