    have you smelt the aftelier R? I find the idea of a mushroom fragrance almost as bad as a Stilton one

    I have not, but the reviews on makeupalley are intriguing. A bit of earthiness to ground the tuberose sounds much more appealing to me than blue cheese, personally, but then, there might be more cepes than tuberose 🙂

    Hints of fungus can work in a very unexpected way. I recently ate a chocolate and black truffle mousse which I expected to be foul. It was actually quite delicious.

    I thought at first that the fragrance would smell strange but I was pleasantly surprised. The mushroom gives the heady tuberose a lovely earthy background. It reminds me of oude…

    While you are at it, you should try Pink Lotus and Shiso. They are both very unusual and so different. I love Oude and Shiso has loads…
