New from La Prairie: Silver Rain Shimmer Mist (see bottle at right), a lighter version of the Silver Rain Eau de Parfum that leaves a silver shimmer on the skin. The fragrance is available now at nordstrom.
Silver Scent by Jacques Bogart is "a mysterious and refined 'night-time' version of Bogart Pour Homme", released in honor of the line's 30th anniversary. The fragrance includes citrus notes, orange blossom, spices, aromatic notes, geranium, oud wood, teak bark, tonka bean, lichen and vetiver. Available now at escentual in the UK.
Rochas has released new variations on their classic fragrance Eau de Rochas. Reflets d'Eau de Rochas for women includes tangerine, lemon, orange, aldehydes, green cyclamen, rose, peony, amber and sandalwood. Reflets d'Eau de Rochas for men features citrus, bergamot, tangerine, nutmeg, cardamom, water lily, violet, melon, musk, sandalwood and amber. Both fragrances are available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette. The men's Reflets does sound interesting. Haven't tried the original, hope I get to try this one. Silver Rain is a nice enough juice, but a shamelessly expensive one. Wonder if the Mist is more decent price-wise.
I hope the Rochas will appear in the US, although have a feeling I'll like the original better. With the Silver Rain, I'm sure it will be the opposite: the original was too heavy for me.
