Valentino V Ete & Boucheron Jaipur Homme Fraicheur: summer limited edition fragrances

Posted by Robin on 15 April 2006 6 Comments

Valentino V Ete perfumeValentino will launch V Ete, a lighter summer version of last year's Valentino V, in May.

Valentino V Ete "captures the essence of summer"; the notes include bamboo, lychee, violet, jasmine, geranium, peony, rose, cedar, sandalwood, gaiac wood, amber, musk and patchouli.

Look for it in 50 or 90 ml Eau de Parfum. (via cosmoty, neimanmarcus)

Also for summer 2006, look for a new limited edition from Boucheron: Boucheron Jaïpur Homme Fraîcheur, a fresh oriental with nutmeg, spices, bergamot, straw flower, patchouli and cashmere woods. (via cosmoty.de)

Valentino “V” was surprisingly pretty. For some reason, I thought it would smell more metallic than it did.

I have started liking “V” after testing and dismissing it a couple of times. It strikes me as one of those “yummy” fragrances that guys like :).

That works for me (hangs head at the admission of her shallow nature).

I have only tried it on a card so far. Will have to see if I can get a sample…

As I said above, haven't even tried on skin yet. Perhaps it will appeal to my shallow nature too 😉

Robin, V Ete has been released already, saw it in Neiman Marcus today. I did not care for it, smelled redundant to me, much more floral than the original.

Hey, I just smelled it at NM yesterday too! I still haven't tried the original on skin so don't have any real opinion except that the V Ete did not interest me on a test strip.
