Posted by Robin on 27 March 2006 9 Comments

Kylie MinogueKylie Minogue, the 37 year old Australian pop singer and actress who recently recovered from a battle with breast cancer, has announced that she will launch a fragrance. In case you missed any of this year's exciting celebrity fragrance news, other celebrity perfumes we are expecting soon include KISS, Hilary Duff, author Danielle Steele, Marilyn Manson, the series Desperate Housewives, Kimora Lee Simmons (Golden Goddess), Mariah Carey, Sean John (for women), Victoria Beckham, Cirque du Soleil, and Nicole Richie. Oh boy, just what I wanted! A Marilyn Manson fragrance! What's in it – bat's blood and hellebore, with a touch of aconitum? I can hardly wait! 🙂

Thanks! I'm psyched about Kylie's fragrance. I've read that she likes Miller Harris Citron Citron, Carolina and Moi Miss Piggy by Gendarme. I wonder if her perfume will resemble these.

I really would love to smell the Marilyn Manson fragrance, too!

Hardly any celebrity perfumes have been shocking in any way. In fact, I sometimes wonder if the juices were considered so bland by the company that the only way they could make them interesting was to attach a celebrity name. MM's frag will probably be a gentle floral…

LOL — I hope so, I would hate to see him release something dull!

Oh, I hope not! I am counting on him to do something completely weird.

last I heard Coty was working the scent for KM so I doubt it would be any weird: it has to sell and sell wide!!

I misread at first and thought you meant Coty was doing the Marilyn Manson scent, which would just be too weird to imagine, LOL…more believable that they're doing the KM 🙂

Would be very surprised to see it before 2007, they haven't even announced a launch date yet.
