Flower Eau d'Ete Kenzo 2006Kenzo will launch Eau d'Eté Flower (bottle shown at right), an alcohol-free summer version of FlowerbyKenzo with rose, gardenia, pink pepper, benzoin and vanilla. (via parfumessence)

Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, will launch her first fragrance under the Coty label by the end of the year; a color cosmetics line will follow. (via 3am) David Beckham's first fragrance release, Instinct, reportedly sold out in the UK over the Christmas shopping season. It is due to launch in the US later this year. Update: see more on David & Victoria Beckham Intimately Beckham.

Roberto Cavalli will launch Cavalli Black for men in June:

The oriental fougère scent by Olivier Cresp of Firmenich, housed in an iridescent black-purple bottle, is conceived as an evening fragrance. (via cosmeticnews)

Update: more on Roberto Cavalli Black here.

Those of you who are anxiously awaiting the release of Terre d'Hermès might be interested in taking a look at the fragrance's new teaser website (site no longer active, sorry!). I spent 5 minutes or so last week trying to figure out what the website was about, but lost patience, and only found out that it was for Terre d'Hermès after reading about it on a fragrance forum.

I sent myself an email via the invitation on the Terre d'Hermes site, thinking 'maybe they'll offer me a sample!'. LOL, at once I got an email, inviting me to…click to go to the website. Ah well, they have my email address now; perhaps there will be offers at some future date! Relaxing music, I was quite mesmerised.

Well, you did better than I did…I entered my email & got nothing! A free sample would be most welcome 😉

YUCK!! My auntie has Kenzo's first perfume “Flower” and it smells like baby oil. I'm not kidding. It smells EXACTLY like Baby Oil

I would have called it baby powder, but I do know exactly what you mean. I don't dislike it entirely, but it is a bit too sweet for me personally. I very much like the Flower Oriental though.
