Faconnable StripeZirh Corduroy cologne for men

Façonnable is launching Façonnable Stripe, a “fresh, spicy, blue-tinted scent” for men, this month. (via cosmeticnews) Façonnable Stripe is an Eau de Toilette, and is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml and in matching grooming products. L'Artisan confirms that they are discontinuing the following scents: Vetiver, Santal, and Orchidée Blanche. As previously reported, Oeillet Sauvage and Jacinthe des Bois are goners as well.

Nanadebary Classic Pink perfume review

Nanadebary Classic Pink fragrance

Nanadebary launched their eponymous fragrance in 2001; it is now known as Classic Pink to distinguish it from the Nanadebary fragrances that followed: Bronze and Green. It was created by Santa Maria Novella, and has notes of nutmeg, coriander, sicilian tangerine, bergamot, lily, jasmine, sandalwood, cedar, musk, amber and bourbon vanilla.

Classic Pink starts with light citrus and heavy spices, and settles to a smooth, spicy blend of sandalwood and vanilla with a touch of amber. The nutmeg is quite pronounced. The floral notes are indistinct — I would not have guessed either lily or jasmine — and they are pretty much gone after 45 minutes on me. It is a sweet fragrance, but I don’t find it overly foody…

Thierry Mugler Alien, Givenchy Very Irresistible for men & more new fragrances

Thierry Mugler is set to launch his next women's fragrance. After the scent has been presented to journalists and professionals, the public (or the public lucky enough to live in Paris, anyway) will be able to experience the fragrance at Initiatic space of Thierry Mugler, 49 Avenues Montaigne, 75008 Paris, from September 15 through October 15. (via abc-luxe) It is rumored that the scent will be called Alien, and will feature jasmine, green notes and vanilla. Update: Alien it is. See a review of Thierry Mugler Alien here.

Givenchy will release Very Irresistible for men in August. The fragrance was created by nose Pierre Wargnye and is described as a “woody green fragrance, with notes of mint, grapefruit peel, mocha and hazelnut wood”. Update: see a review of Very Irresistible for men here….
