Ergo candles: Grove & Zoysia

Posted by Robin on 2 March 2005 8 Comments

Ergo Grove scented candle

I love scented candles, but as I’ve mentioned before, I have a hard time allocating much money for them as it cuts too deeply into my limited perfume budget. Recently I tried two candles from the Ergo Silver Collection, which is said to be scented at 4 times the industry standard. At $24.50 for a 7 oz jar, they are more expensive than your basic Yankee Candle, but not so dear as high end lines like Diptyque or L’Artisan…

I can’t wait for summer — it is so much easier to try a whole mess of fragrances at once when you can go sleeveless and apply right up the arms to the shoulder. Paper test strips just aren’t as much fun.

One of my favorite Italian orange blossom scents is i Profumi di Firenze Zagara. It starts rather sharp and very heavy on the bergamot, but calms to a lovely orange blossom with citrus notes and just the right amount of sweetness. It is very sparkling, cheerful and summery, and has good lasting power…

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle adHere is the Spring 2005 ad campaign for Coco Mademoiselle, featuring Kate Moss.
