Creed Original Santal

Posted by Marlen on 30 September 2005 15 Comments — Comments are closed

Being a huge fan of Creed, it was with excitement and some trepidation that I tested Original Santal, one of Creed’s two launches for 2005 (the other being Love in White). I was quite disappointed with Creed’s previous launch, Original Vetiver, mostly due to the fact that it was anything but original (though truth be told, I’m considering buying a bottle anyhow) and word of mouth has not been much better for this new scent.

Posted by Robin on 30 September 2005 14 Comments

More on the upcoming Carnal Flower from Frederic Malle: it will have a higher concentration of tuberose than any other fragrance on the market; other notes include bergamot, melon, eucalyptus, ylang-ylang, jasmine, white musk cocktail, coconut, and orange blossom absolute. Frederic Malle also plans to open a boutique in New York City by 2007. (via Women's Wear Daily)

Nicole Farhi, the UK designer who is set to launch her first fragrance line this fall, talks about her long-time devotion to Hermès Bel Ami, and why she prefers her new men's scent over the women's, in the Times Online. Many thanks to Marcello for the link!
