Bond no. 9 has a new website.

Miller Harris has revamped their site, and added an online shopping cart.

Seems strange that Bond No 9 should choose a blog format for their website.

I saw something interesting on the Miller Harris website. I clicked on the samples just to see what was on offer. At the bottom of the screen it says that any products or samples purchased from MH are for personal use only and may not be sold or re-sold.

Will have to keep an eye on ebay to see if anything happens and also, how would they enforce it?

B, it does seem strange. On the MH: I didn't notice that at all. Wonder if they are worried about ebay, or about other stores getting the nouvelle line that way? I know I read a story a long time ago about a company trying to stop the decant thing on ebay. Seems to me it was Chanel, and that they won the case…but don't see how that can be as obviously decanting is very much alive & well on ebay.

That is interesting about Chanel. I'm not surprised that they won the case with them being such a powerful company. I don't know how a small company like MH would be able to afford to go through the courts for something like that though.

B, I looked for a reference to this case online & can't find a thing. Maybe I dreamed it?? Agreed though, in any case, don't see how MH has the resources to prevent ebayers from selling their products.

A BLOG?! And note the error in the spelling of beautycafe. I am so thankful that I did not lemming a single Bond fragrance. They are so overpriced that you would think the company would spring for a well-designed domain.

I was suspicious of a “house” that rolled out so many fragrances at once. For those of you who love Bond, fear not – according to the Bond Street store in Manhattan, there are TONS more to be released.

The Bond site is bizarro. Given the care they take in making the shop gorgeous and the bottles great, I'm surprised they have such a sloppy, cheap website up.

And P.S. I'm also surprised that there doesn't seem to be much mention of how to get to the shop, how to contact them, or how much fragrances cost by the ounce. All in all, a shoddy and uninformative website.

Have to agree that they are obviously not investing in the website. Might be the first blog I've seen from a major fragrance house.

T, I am very surprised too, although they aren't the first fragrance company to see the internet as an afterthought.
