What are your favorites from the Caron Boutique, dear R?
Iris, all of the urn fragrances are worth trying. My favorite so far is the relatively new Tubereuse, but there are quite a few that I've never tried on skin. Alpona smelled lovely on someone else and I finally got a sample but haven't tried it yet. The traditional Carons all have a sort of dark undertone that doesn't always suit me personally. There are some lovely reviews of the classic Carons on Bois de Jasmin (see under “perfume blogs” on the left column).
Of the newer scents, my favorite is Aimez Moi, but it is easily found online so might not be worth buying through this sale.
Oh, God, I have a decant of Alpona coming to me soon. If I like it, I'll have to get more and thank god I've ordered from them 2 times so I hope that means I'm a existing customer! LOL
I have a sample of Alpona waiting patiently….hope to get to it soon.
