Perfume on the web

Posted by Robin on 17 March 2005 5 Comments

There is a short blurb in Wallpaper about the Armani Privé fragrances and the Angel Garden of Stars trio. I love to browse around the Wallpaper site, which focuses on design issues. In their January issue they selected Miller Harris and Iunx as the best beauty stores, unfortunately the accompanying pictures are a little dark. (Neither of the Wallpaper links are working any more, sorry!)

Iunx is a fun line. I bought a group of samples from ebay and really enjoyed them. When my friend went to Paris I asked her to bring me back one. I'm hoping they will make it here one day.

My friend was remarking on how cool the store is and how the sampes are dispensed.

I have heard the Iunx store is fabulous, and I was very disappointed to see that you can hardly make anything out in that picture on Wallpaper. I do wish Iunx would start a website!!!!

The IUNX store really is something special. The light in the Wallpaper picture is exactly reproduced from the location – almost inexistent. The samples are sprayed by kind of a machine onto blotters.

What I like most is the fact that this is about perfume and nothing but perfume. You can buy the fragrances in a 15 ml try-out vial for 20 Euros – thats reasonable.

When in Paris – do not miss it.

My friend said the downside is, although the 15ml is a great trial size the only other size they sell is HUGE.

The store sounds so wonderful! I wish they would sell online, or at least find a US distributor. It may be a very long time before I get to Paris again, especially if I keep spending all my money on perfume.
